Northern Gauteng dominates in jukskei meeting
The meeting serves as a preliminary exercise in preparation for the South African Championships set to be organised in Kroonstad late next month.
Northern Gauteng dominated a major jukskei exhibition tournament held at the Boksburg Jukskei Club recently.
A total of 70 teams competed from four Gauteng districts namely Eastern, Central and Northern Gauteng, as well as the West Rand. Limpopo, Mpumalanga and North West also competed during the major jukskei jamboree.
Gauteng North, who emerged as convincing victors in both the A and B sections of play, were awarded the Tienie van Schoor trophy for topping the A section and they also picked up the Grip Trophy for acing the B section.
