Brusa sports consultancy looking to unearth local talent

Brusa supports the learner throughout the tertiary procurement process: looking at an individual’s sporting, academic and financial needs.

Brusa, which stands for Britain to the United States of America, is a sports consultancy focusing on the individual.

The consultancy recently visited the country for presentations and to scout some talent within the school sporting fraternity.

One of its presentations was held at the Boksburg City Stadium.

Brusa Sports UK helps learners use their sporting talent to attain a degree at some of the USA and Canada’s best universities.

This, however, applies to learners who have the sporting potential and marks good enough to allow them to study towards a degree.

Brusa also scouts learners across multiple sports except cricket and netball, with the demand for the two sports little to zero in the US and Canada.

“Our main aims are to get learners to study in tertiary and help families because we’re aware of how expensive university studies are,” said Brusa director Michael Michailidis during an interview at the Advertiser offices.

“We’re trying to give an educational opportunity to everyone and anyone, regardless of where you come from and what school you go to.”

Brusa’s services include profile creation, athlete marketing, scholarship negotiation, assistance until graduation and visa assistance, to name a few.

For a free consultation, Michailidis, who’s based in the UK, can be reached at michaelm@brusasportsuk.co.uk
