Bodybuilder’s legacy lives on

The new shop also features a tattoo studio and a skin specialist.

Former Boksburg professional bodybuilder Tyrel Ekermans was remembered during the re-opening of his TTT supplement shop at the K90 Centre on May 25.

His sister, Bianca Juchau, who was central to the organising of the event, said that the aim of the relaunch was to continue her brother’s legacy.

The relaunch also saw the improved shop’s name tweaked from TTT Nutrition to TTT Legacy.

Part of the day’s proceedings was a number of strongman events, including deadlifting and log lifting, which featured some of the country’s well-known powerlifting athletes.

Ekermans was stabbed to death in Cape Town in April last year. He was 36.
