Blues coach stays optimistic as the pressure mounts

The Blues face relegation with their latest setback for the umpteenth loss.

Boksburg Football Club coach Ernest Seforo says his side will fight until the end to avoid relegation from the Eastern Super League.

This comes after more misery was piled up on what has been a tough season for the Prince George Park outfit, losing 0-2 away to Olympia on Saturday, June 23.

“The match officials handled both games very well, in a professional manner,” said the mentor, also referring to the senior reserve game which preceded the first side clash.

“We started the game on a very high note, dominated ball possession, about 70 per cent, creating chances and not converting them. I was very frustrated. Pressing was so great, good positioning and excellent defending.

“We lost concentration in the second half and opponents took their chances.

“From the first minute of the game, the way we played, I thought we were going to have our three points but you know, without the team scoring the goals, there is no win. The team has to score for us to win,” lamented the trainer.

“The game was very competitive and the best team in the 90 minutes managed to win and obtain the three points. Myself and the team will continue with the hard work until we get positive results.

“I really appreciate the support we are getting from the committee. I believe and trust that the dry goal season of Boksburg will be history.

“We as a team are working together to avoid relegation. The good results are coming soon.” – @SabeloBoksburg
