Midfielder Happy Matapa completed a brace to help Boksburg Football Club’s u-17s to an entertaining 3-2 win over Daveyton All Stars in their Super League match on Sunday, April 29.
The Blues led twice, only for All Stars to equalise as many times before Matapa netted the decisive goal at the Benoni Old Bens grounds.
Half-time score was 2-all.
Coach Ernest Seforo praised his team.
“The boys are fighting, they have a fighting spirit. We scored, they equalised. We scored again and they equalised again before Happy ended it.”
