Third T20 Match

The Proteas entertain India on Saturday the 24th in the third and final T20 match in the ultimate decider as to who will win the T20 match. South Africa comes in the T20 match having won the second match in Centurion to tie the series one all.  The visitors will be looking to continue their success in the white ball and seal the three match series 2-1.

 Football

English Premier League

The standout match this Sunday is undoubtedly the top-of-the-table clash when Chelsea visit former manager Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Kick-off is 4pm.

United and Chelsea have been wrestling for the runner-up position in large parts of the season before Liverpool and Tottenham began making their cases stronger in recent weeks.

United currently occupy the sought after second position which, along with the number one spot, grants you automatic qualification into the Champions League. However, the Blues, who have an inferior goal difference to the hosts, are just three points behind the Red Devils and a win will tie the two heavyweights on the table.

With no love lost between the managers Mourinho and Antonio Conte, it can only add to the drama that awaits the Theatre of Dreams.

Pace setters Manchester City have all but won the crown with a seemingly unassailable 16-point lead with 11 games remaining.

Absa Premiership

Mamelodi Sundowns face off against struggling neighbours Supersport United in aim of extending their lead at the top of the table. Masandawana, who struggled to finish off their chances during the one-all draw against Fee-State Stars in midweek, will be looking to improve in the usually entertaining Tshwane derby.

Meanwhile, Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will be looking to build momentum when they face Bloemfontein Celtic and Chippa United respectively ahead of the Soweto derby next Saturday.

Moreover and interestingly, the first three positions of the Absa Premier League are currently occupied by the big boys of South African football with Sundowns towing the line with 39 points from 21 outings. Chiefs are second, five points behind the leaders and a single point ahead of the Buccaneers. With the stakes this high, we could be heading towards the most entertaining Soweto derby in a very long time.
