Boksburg’s fantastic four to compete in Karatenomichi (KWF) World Cup in Malta
Four Dan Triangle Karate Club members were selected to compete in the Karatenomichi (KWF) World Cup in Malta, which will take place on the weekend of September 29 to October 1.
The quartet includes Jaun-Pierre Vermeulen, Bryce Pillay, Laura Beamish and Christopher Anthony.
They qualified for the international showpiece because they were all placed in the top three in their respective open category events during the KWF South African Championships earlier this year.
Anthony also competed in the WSKA Shotokan World Karate Championships, in Trvisto in Italy on September 24.
He joined his stable mates in Malta yesterday (September 25).
The quartet will also have the opportunity to train with Japanese KWF Chief Instructor and Grand Master Shihan Yahara (eighth Dan) in Malta. – @SabeloBoksburg
