Smoke frenzy set to delight at The Rock
Drift fans will be in for a treat as the fifth round of the SA Drift Champs gets under way at the Rock Raceway in Brakpan on Saturday.
The familiar sight of the drifters smoking up their tyres is set to send the crowd into a frenzy as they cheer on their favourite drifter.
Drifters promise to dazzle onlookers with their fancy footwork and sideways antics in their high-speed chariots.
Patrons are encouraged to fill the stands in huge numbers to cheer on their sideways heroes.
The judges’ skilful circuit layout will test the skill levels of all the drifters as they chase the ultimate prize at victory lane.
Gates open at 10am with practice sessions for drifters and qualifying.
Event proceedings will start at 4pm.
