Chlup solidifies Boksburg’s Irish invasion

Having comfortably gone through the stages locally, Impala Park sports model Rachel Chlup is ready to test her talents against the world’s best.

The 19-year-old booked her spot for the NABBA-WFF World Championships scheduled to take place in Dublin, Ireland, after winning her Under 1.63m category at the SA National Championships held at Unisa in Pretoria recently.

Her national crowning was preceded by a second-place finish at the NABBA-WFF provincials in September.

She joins the likes of veteran local sports model Cindy Willemse who also booked her spot for the same event.

Chlup shared the following thoughts on her Facebook page about the accomplishment:

“I am ecstatic to say that I won my bikini model U-1.63m line up at NABBA-WFF Nationals and I have qualified to go compete in Worlds in Ireland.

“I just want to say thank to my family and my man for all the support not only on the day but throughout the whole prep. You guys are so special to me, thank you to my mom and dad for helping me out in more ways than I could ever imagine.

You guys both mean the world to me and I’m truly so grateful to God for blessing me with parents like you. I’m truly so thankful to have you guys as my parents, thank you for supporting me and for just being so understanding,

“Special thanks goes to God for making this achievement possible. It honestly wouldn’t have been possible without Him by my side and guiding me through it all. He supplied all my needs beyond measure. He is so faithful.

“I’d really love to be able to go, therefore I am appealing to all my fans and support for any sponsorships, to assist me in getting there.

“Any sponsorships and donations will be really appreciated.”

The Worlds are scheduled to take place over the weekend of November 5 and 6. – @SabeloBoksburg
