The Rock to pull out all stops for 2015 ultimate showdown
The Rock Raceway will hold its annual Rockmania All-in-One Showdown on Saturday, December 12.
Get into high gear to watch oval drivers, drifters, Formula N circuit drivers, legends and drag racers all take to the circuit to give the spectators one final show for the year.
The iconic 400m oval circuit will host all the favourite entertainers.
If you thrive on adrenaline, this is one event you do not want to miss, as Rotary fans and V8 fans are in for a treat.
The V8 Outlaw Sprints will smoke tyres to the finish line in a high speed chase for the podium spot, while Rotary fans will see super midgets do battle trackside as well.
Other favourite categories will include the Kids in Racing SA Ninja class (ages six -12 years), 100cc micro midgets, 125 shifter karts, Formula 2 midgets,1600 stock rods, 1660 modified saloons, super midgets, V8 Lexus class, 2.1 L pinto class, super saloons and Formula N circuit racing.
The popular Inex World Championship series Legends Racing, that originated in the United States, will again be in action as our local drivers take to the circuit in their old ’60s and ’70s Ford and Chevy replicas, powered by Yamaha motorbike engines.
The legends were the very first Nascars to be raced in the USA. The Inex series now runs a world championship and our SA drivers take part in it as well.
Last year’s world champion was SA’s Devin Robertson, from Big Boss Auto.
