Accoridng to Santi Steinmann, spokesperson for Netcare 911, paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found that a light delivery vehicle had overturned resulting in the vehicle coming to a standstill in the fast lane on its side.
“One man was ejected from the vehicle during the rollover and upon assessment, paramedics found that he was in a critical condition.
“The other two men were found to have sustained serious injuries.
“All three patients were treated on scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.”
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the rollover and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
