Awesome video with four exercises to bulk up your arms

With the fast-approaching festive and summer seasons in mind, the Advertiser met up Boksburg bodybuilder and NABBA-WFF Mr Universe Wiehann Mentz to give the guys a tip or two about getting bigger ‘guns’ for the summer season.

In the video, Mentz provides two biceps and triceps exercises that will add those all-important extra centimetres on your arms.

The bicep training includes two exercises of curls for the inside and outside biceps muscles and the triceps exercises include triceps kickbacks and seated overhead extensions.

Training tips:

* Two warm-up sets per muscle group;

* Then four working sets, also per muscle group, such as four sets for biceps and triceps respectively;

* Minimum repetitions: eight; maximum repetitions: 12.

Basic diet to fuel your training:

* Protein shake, eggs, chicken, basmati rice, oats and vegetables.
