The second half of the 2013/14 Eastern Cricket season gets underway this Sunday, January 12, with Premier, Promotion, Directors, Chairman’s, Presidents and Legends League action.

The Premier League will see both Boksburg sides on the road with Boksburg Cricket Club travelling to Duduza and CBC Old Boys making the shorter trip to take on Actonville Spurs in Benoni.

Boksburg will be looking to reverse the season’s first-half result against their opponents and climb up the table come Sunday, with Duduza embarrassing them with a seven-wicket victory in November last year.

The men from PG Park have had an indifferent season thus far, and lie in ninth spot on the log.

Meanwhile CBC, who are well in the race for top honours with co-frontrunners Kempton Park and Benoni Northerns, will be looking to stay in the running with a victory over Spurs, who are not far off contention themselves.

Premier, Promotion and Directors League action gets underway at 9.30am, with Chairman’s and Presidents League games commencing at noon.

Legends League match between CBC Old Boys and Benoni gets underway at 2pm.

The full fixture list can be found on the Eastern Cricket website at www.easternscricket.co.za.

Other Premier League fixtures: Benoni versus Kwa-Thema, Springs Old Boys versus Tembisa and Kempton versus United.
