Primrose boxer Jarred “Mr Hollywood” Silverman will be looking to bounce back to winning ways when he steps into the ring with Emmanuel Makoro, in Boksburg, on August 1.
Silverman lost a controversial points decision to Mustard Mangaladzi the last time he stepped into the ring, which was last year.
The young fighter is a former national amateur champion and will want to get back into the reckoning for provincial and national titles.
His record is currently at four wins (one by knockout) and three losses.
The fight against Makoro will be in the welterweight division.
Makoro should be beatable, as he is also coming off a defeat by Alfred Mncedi, but in boxing one can never be sure.
The tournament in Boksburg has been labelled Boxing Extravaganza at Presleys.
The main bout of the evening will be a cruiserweight bout between Deon Coetzee and Emmanuel Manengi.
