I would like to report an act of sheer goodwill, honesty, humaneness and public spirit.
On Saturday, January 6, I dropped my wallet in the parking area in front of House of Ribs, at the Towers Shopping Centre in North Rand Road.
It was picked up by Jabu, a chef at House of Ribs, and handed to Carla at the restaurant.
She so kindly contacted the credit card division and traced my cell number and that of my wife.
I was overwhelmed by the efforts of Jabu and Carla.
I will be giving Jabu something for his honest act. I was also informed by Carla that it was not the first time Jabu has performed such an act.
