I would be grateful if, through your paper, I could express my dissatisfaction with our SA postal service.
As a current holder of a box at the East Rand Mall, we were notified that the boxes were to be moved to a Boksburg North shopping centre, which was to be completed within a matter of days.
Needless to say, the boxes have not been moved and, according to a staff member at the post office, post can now be collected from the central post office in Boksburg, which is next to a taxi rank.
Once again, the postal department has managed to create a hopeless situation, which will affect many citizens in and around Boksburg.
Pensioners, like myself, will now have to travel further, into an area which is not 100 per cent safe.
I might also add, that when I attempted to make contact via the telephone numbers and the e-mail address supplied on the flyer – guess what – unsuccessful!
