As Covid-19 cases are on the rise again, the Advertiser asked a few locals what they think we can do to prevent the country from going into a fifth wave.

Mbuso Mavumengwana: People should continue to wear masks and sanitise to prevent the spread of the virus. Lockdown restrictions in China should also be alarming to us.

Anna Mofali: We must go back to the way things were when the virus first broke out and wear masks, sanitise and keep a safe distance.

Victor Zondo: We must not relax and remember to always adhere to Covid-19 regulations. Keep on wearing your mask and sanitise regularly.

Alan Elson: We have to get the basic Covid-19 measures under control, such as mask-wearing, sanitising and remembering to keep our distance.

Joseph Dlamini: South Africans must get vaccinated and mass gatherings should be stopped for now.
