The Advertiser asked a few locals if they changed their shopping routine due to the recent spike in business robberies.
Lawrence da Sousa: I still do my shopping as normal, I’m just a lot more cautious now. I pay attention to my surroundings.
Denise Manning (Jan Smutsville): I don’t take my child with me when I go shopping anymore. I also try to limit the amount of shops I go to.
Melanie Mey (Parkrand): I avoid going to shops and I don’t do shopping after work. I’m also a lot more cautious now.
Dean Sweeney: I’m now a lot more cautions when I go to shopping centres and mall. Shopping centres should definitely improve its security.
Sacha Maughan (Brentwood Park): I just do all my shopping online now. It’s just easier and safer for me.
