Should schooling return to normal and be at full capacity?

The Advertiser took to the streets to ask locals for their opinion.

Apelele Lubuzo: It won’t be a good thing. Schools should only operate on full capacity if they have the resources. Covid-19 is real.

Carlene du Toit: It will be a good thing. Schools can also implement structures to keep children and teachers safe. For example, teachers can go to different classes instead of learners.

Jeanette du Preez: Yes, it should be fine if the learners and educators wear masks. It’s especially important for matriculants to be at school full time.

Pinky Tshabalala: Sometimes, it’s better if schools operate rotationally. Covid-19 is dangerous and they just want to protect our children.

Martie Pretorius: It will be a good thing if schools operate on full capacity again. It should be fine if children and educators have masks, and the amount of positive cases are decreasing.
