In the light of this, the Advertiser asked a few what is the one issue they want council to change in Boksburg?
Maryke du Pisani: They must repair the street lights. It’s really unsafe to drive at night and there are no lights.
Annelette Bezuidenhout: Power outages due to lack of maintenance. Sometimes it takes days to restore a power outage.
Charlene Levatt: They must do something about the street lights. Some are on all day but off at night when you need them. It’s unsafe and a waste of electricity.
Victor Zondo: They must improve on electricity and water supplies. People in rural areas are suffering without water and electricity.
Bianca Willemsen: I want to see the government address the lack of road markings. They must also try to keep the roads and fields clean.
