I have recently pointed out the challenges faced by residents at the Boksburg North Police Station’s firearm office.
The challenges with regards to customer service were brought to the attention of the station management.
I’ve been keeping an eye on the situation at the firearm offices, and it is with great pleasure to report that Col Meso and the team have been making good progress to address all the problems about the shortage of personnel which led to long queues, extremely long waiting time and people being turned away.
The public is now being assisted on Saturdays, instead of only Monday to Friday. So I just want to say well done to the team and management.
I’m looking forward to all the other progress to be made shortly. Such things improve the relationship between police and the public. Thank you!
