Pharmacy’s 21st birthday celebrations to benefit Boksburg SPCA

Attendees can look forward to jumping castles, refreshments and raffles.

The Med-Leigh Pharmacy at The Square Centre on Rietfontein Road will host a community fun day on May 4 for its 21st birthday and also to support the Boksburg SPCA and Urban Ruins.

Leigh Schmid, who owns the pharmacy, which turned 21 on April 16, says it will be a fun-filled day, with jumping castles, refreshments, face painting, music and more.

The pharmacy will raffle a braai valued at R1 000 and a hamper and donate the proceeds to the Boksburg SPCA.

Furthermore, they will collect dog and cat food, blankets, cat litter, collars and leashes for the society.

Med-Leigh Pharmacy also seeks donations of clothing and toys for Urban Ruins.

Drop off your donations at the pharmacy.
