SAPS football team stays on the winning path

The Boksburg North SAPS football team continued their winning streak following a 5-3 victory over Benoni K9 on March 27 in Benoni.

The match was part of the Ekurhuleni North Football League for police officers.

Team chairperson Sergeant Bhuti Kunene was proud of the team’s performance.

“It was a good game but we just need to work on our defence,” said Kunene.

The team showed improvement when they won 2-0 against Daveyton SAPS at the Boksburg Stadium on February 14.

Boksburg North SAPS drew 3-3 against the Pan African Parliament (PAP) in Olifantsfontein the following Wednesday.

The team defeated Kempton Park SAPS 4-2 on March 20 at the Boksburg Stadium.
