Get involved with Round Table this year

The Table has exciting projects in the pipeline for this year.

Round Table Boksburg 17 is still going from strength to strength to make an impactful change in the community.

For over 70 years, the local club has staged several community outreach projects to assist those in need.

In particular, Round Table offers an opportunity for men aged 18 to 40 to make new friends from their community, area, country and the world.

Chairperson Cuan Maizey also pointed out it is also an excellent vehicle for self-improvement in public speaking, leadership, project management, and meeting procedures.

Upcoming projects
Maizey highlighted that the club is excited about upcoming projects that they are planning for this year.

The Table will once again help the needy this winter with the Winter Knights Project.

Winter Knights is a homegrown and hands-on Round Table SA project aiding the less fortunate during winter by collecting blankets, clothing and non-perishable food.

“We will start our collection drive in April to build up for the winter,” Maize added.

Maizey explained they are planning a Chicken Parade project where they will do a clean-up in the community.

The Boksburg Table meets every second Tuesday of the month.
