In the light of 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children, the Boksburg Advertiser asked a few locals if they believe the campaign still has value.

Chris Dean: The 16 Days of Activism still has value because it will open people’s minds and make them aware of what is going on around them.
Cathy Stephens: The campaign is important because it will inform people about the reality of what some women and children go through. It is important that we hear their stories.

Verona January: The campaign still has value because abuse against women and children is on the rise, and we need to create awareness about the issue of violence against women and children.
Francis Khewa: It is important that we celebrate 16 Days of Activism because it will raise awareness around the issue of violence against women and children and urge victims to seek help.
