Faulty cables plunge parts of Boksburg into darkness
The City of Ekurhuleni has announced that its technicians are conducting tests on faulty cables that have plunged large parts of Boksburg into darkness since midnight.
Affected areas include Sunward Park, Van Dyk Park, Salfin, Parkrand, Parkdene and surroundings. Restoration time will be communicated once all tests have been completed. Residents are advised to treat electrical networks as live at all times.
The city apologises for the inconvenience this has caused, and commits to working around the clock to restore the power as soon as possible.
