Glass is a superstar when it comes to recycling

Whether it's clear, green or brown glass, it's all recyclable!

The Glass Recycling Company (TGRC) provided a guide to the ins and outs of glass recycling.

The company is passionate about keeping things green and clean and wants to ensure you are in the know.
It is time to step up and take responsibility for our waste.

Glass is a superstar when it comes to recycling. Did you know glass recycling helps to save energy, reduces carbon emissions and is endlessly recyclable? It’s a win-win.

But down to the nitty-gritty.

TGRC is all about glass packaging – the bottles and jars you use for drinks, food, and cosmetics. Whether it is clear, green, or brown glass, all of it is recyclable.

But you cannot recycle all glass the same way, so TGRC set the record straight.

When recycling, say no to window glass, crystal drinking glasses, and light bulbs. These do not play well with the packaging glass recycling process.
