Fruitful high density operation in Boksburg North

An Ekurhuleni high-density operation in the Boksburg North precinct in August saw 18 people arrested.

According to Boksburg North SAPS station commander, central and north sub-district police stations were involved in the operation

Seven people were arrested for possession of drugs and 11 for being in the country illegally.

Police confiscated dagga, crystal meth, CAT and nyoape.

Three hundred and seventy people, 160 vehicles and 10 premises were searched. Furthermore, eight liquor outlets, six spaza shops and 12 ATMs among other places were visited. Police patrolled 15 crime hotspots.
