Boksburg community treated to delicious meals

Various companies came out in their numbers to support the event on Mandela Day.

The community members were served food at the Boksburg Municipality by various companies.

In celebration of Mandela Day, Ward 32 Clr Marius de Vos, Denver Ramnath from AIDA and several stakeholders spent their 67 minutes on Mandela Day treating Boksburg residents to warm and mouthwatering food at the Boksburg Municipality.

Some 34 companies had food stalls and drinks to give to the community, supporting the #Mandela Day Charity Drive.

Hundreds of community members queued to get their treats of hot dogs, boerie rolls and sodas.
Some of them came to help make the food and serve people.

A community member said she was happy about the event because they were treated and served food, and she appreciated the acts of generosity.

Quinton Appies from SA Home Loans was also part of the serving team.

Hot dogs prepared by the organisations were served to the community.

Marius de Vos, the Ward 32 Clr, and Denver Ramnath from AIDA organised the charity drive.
