A few Ridgeview Retirement Village residents visited CHOC (Childhood Cancer Foundation) in Saxonwold as part of their 67 minutes for Mandela Day.

Ridgeview manager Liza Oosthuizen said they went on a house tour and then spent time with the children.

Ridgeview Retirement Village manager Liza Oosthuizen had fun at CHOC in Saxonwold for Mandela Day.

“We played with them outside, pushing them around in little cars, being served tea and food inside the Wendy hut, kicking balls around and throwing hoops.

“Nelson Mandela once said: ‘History will judge us by the difference we make in the everyday lives of children’.”

They handed donations of food and other items to the home.
