Is Atlasville’s Izelle fit to take the crown?

She is a finalist in the Opulent Models South Africa (OMSA) 2023 contest, explaining that OMSA is one of the leading international professional model search competitions.
“I am honoured to have made it to the finals in the fitness physique category. I am super excited,” said the brunette beauty from Atlasville.
“This has been a wonderful journey so far and the competition has given me a platform to prove myself,” she said.
Izelle has always been passionate about exercise and a healthy lifestyle.
“I believe in a balanced and holistic lifestyle. I enjoy functional training, which I’m doing now. It’s a mind, body and soul approach. At my age, I want to make a difference in the model industry. I love fashion and the modelling world.”
Izelle is passionate about female empowerment and having fun.
The finalist expressed her gratitude to her husband, Christiaan Botes (better known as TikTok sensation Vermaak My Dag), for his support.
Izelle said her personal trainer, Chris van den Berg from Atlasville, is helping her prepare for the competition and inspired her to enter.
Chris is also an Opulent Model SA 2023 finalist in the fitness physique category.
The 38-year-old Chris, who is also passionate about fitness and a balanced lifestyle, is excited about the competition.
“For me, it’s not only about winning. This is something genuine I want to do for myself. I want to be a good example to my children.”
Chris explained he wants to show that you can achieve a lot if you are performance-driven and well-balanced.
“I allowed people to define me and tear me down. I had a drinking problem, but have overcome this more than a year ago. I’m focused on a healthy lifestyle,” he said.
Chris thanked his wife, Julie Upton, for being his biggest supporter.
The grand finale will take place at SunBet Arena at Times Square on June 29 under the theme ‘Monochrome’.
