According to the executive director of the Miss Earth South Africa Leadership Development Programme, Catherine Constantinides, they are celebrating 20 years of the Miss Earth South Africa this year, and they are excited to get to know the new group of young women that will enter their leadership programme.

“By working with young women throughout the country, we are developing a generation of role models who take action on the ground and inspire lasting positive change in our communities.” said Constantinides.

She further said that environmental education and awareness are critical in combatting climate change and the legacy of the programme, which speaks for itself and is evident in the results of the many effective projects they have initiated over the last two decades.

Applications are now open, and young women from across the country aged 18-27 years of age are welcome to apply.
