Market vendors have a blast at car boot sale

Vendors sell their second hand goods at Bokkie Park.

The Boksburg Advertiser’s car boot sale at the Bokkie Park on May 6 was again a hive of activity.

The car boot sale is held in conjunction with the Bokkie Park Food and Craft Market on the first Saturday of each month.

Nico Potgieter keeps the feet tapping at the monthly market.

Take note, from June the Advertiser will no longer administer or run the car boot sale.

This has been handed over to the market organiser, Janine Richardson.

One of the vendors, Ansie Sargent who has been attending craft markets since the 1980s, pointed out how much she enjoys the car boot sale.

“I found my love for craft markets during Covid-19 because everything was put on hold. After Covid, when the market and car boot sale reopened, I was very happy and I look forward to many more because it’s where I can make extra income,” she added.
