Help Sunward Park NPO to assist the needy this winter

Help NPO organisation keep the less fortunate warm this winter.

Lighthouse Touching Lives, an NPO based in Sunward Park, needs volunteers and donations from the public to help people in need this winter.

Donations of blankets, clothing, groceries or any unwanted items that might be of help will be appreciated.

The organisation will be handing out food hampers, blankets and have a soup kitchen in the coming months to help the less fortunate.

“There are many people in need in Boksburg and we are taking action. We were based in Pretoria and did the best we could for its residents. We aim to make a difference in Boksburg,” said Oswald Sunnasy, the director of the organisation.

“We have had many encounters with people less fortunate, many of whom are drug addicts.

“If any of these people show a willingness to change, we help them get into rehab,” he added.

For more information on where to donate and volunteer, contact Oswald on 076 845 8179.
