Help St Francis with its wish list this month

St Francis Care Centre is a registered NPO that caters to dozens of vulnerable children and adults, most of them suffering from threatening and/or life-limiting conditions.

Community members are encouraged to assist the St Francis Care Centre with its wish list.

The centre would appreciate it if the following were donated:

Groceries, cleaning products, including washing powder, refuse bags, Jik, Domestos, dishwashing liquid, air freshener, insect repellent, pine gel, brooms, mops, buckets, dishcloths, Five Roses tea, sugar, coffee, long life milk, Cremora, eggs, Maizena, brown onion soup powder, Bisto, spices (chicken, BBQ, curry), chutney, salt, fresh veggies (onions, potatoes, carrots, pumpkin), tomato sauce, cooking oil, oats, and Maltabella.

The Rainbow Cottage for children needs baby formula (Lactogen 1, 2 and 3), baby porridge and food, nappies (sizes 2, 3, 4 and 5), baby wet wipes, tissues, mattresses for cot beds as well as mattress protectors.

The adult in-patient unit and general needs include adult nappies (M, L and XL), A4 printing paper, disposable aprons and gloves (M), black and red pens, masks, linen savers, anything for their charity shop, linen and bedding for adult beds, paint and undercoat for maintenance, mattress protectors, toilet paper, pillow cases and medical gloves (blue).

The centre also needs financial assistance (banking details issued on request). If you can help in any way, call 011 894 4151.
