Woman killed in accident in Jubilee Road
Paramedics after a resuscitation attempt declared the woman dead.
A woman died in a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Jubilee Road and Leeuwpoort Street on January 23.
According to Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services (DEMS) spokesperson William Ntladi, the rescue team from Boksburg Central Fire Station received the call at 16:47.
“Two light motor vehicles were involved in the accident. One patient was lying motionlessly on the road surface when the rescue services arrived.
“Paramedics after a resuscitation attempt declared the woman dead.
“She was the only driver of one of the two hatchback vehicles involved in the crash.
“The occupants of the other vehicle were not injured,” said Ntladi.
The accident scene was handed over to the EMPD for further investigation.
