Make a child happy with a gift this Christmas

Help spoil children at Kuselo by donating Christmas gifts.

Kuselo Child and Youth Care Services is urging the community to support the Pick n Pay Hypermarket at Eastpoint Centre’s Christmas tree that gives hope to children project.

The names of the children from Kuselo are written on pieces of paper on a tree. Shoppers can pick a name, buy a gift for the child and hand it in at customer service.

Shoppers can donate items such as toys, clothing and newborn baby products.

According to the branch’s customer service manager, Maggie Malapela, the project is part of the business’s commitment to supporting the community as part of its social responsibility.

Founder of Kuselo, Amanda Coetzee, expressed her gratitude towards Pick n Pay for doing it for the organisation.

“Most of our children never had a Christmas and don’t know what a Christmas present is. It will certainly make them happy if they can also have a gift under the tree.”
