Get screened for diabetes for free at Healthworx

In light of National Diabetes Month that is celebrated in November, Healthworx Boksburg will be offering free diabetes (glucose, blood pressure and cholesterol screening) on November 23.

The screening will take place from 09:00 until 15:30.

According to practice manager Santie Pretorius, the main objective of the day is to raise health awareness.

She explained they will hand out flyers in the centre’s parking lot for people to get screened free of charge.

Pretorius added the day will be supported by Lancet and the SANBS.
