Girl Guides help Tambo Babies

Tambo Babies is grateful for the donation.

Boksburg Girl Guides recently blessed Tambo Babies Boksburg with blankets and baby grows.

The Guides made the baby blankets as part of their Nelson Mandela challenge and donated baby grows and other baby clothes to Tambo Babies to help new mothers that have nothing for their newborn babies.

Tina Moolman and Ceddy Ceradwyn Foster from Tambo Babies joined a Guide meeting to tell the girls about their charity and the goods were handed over to them.

Clair Murphy, from Boksburg Girl Guides, said the girls loved hearing about the organisation’s work.

“We hope our small contribution will help those in need,” she said.

Tina expressed her gratitude towards the Guides for the donation.

Girl Guides is a worldwide organisation that focuses on the improvement and education of girls through fun and laughter. Girls between the ages of four and 14 are welcome to join.

Members meet on Mondays at the Boksburg Girl Guide hall, on Southvale Road, Parkdene.

If you would like your child to join the movement, call Clair on 083 380 7419 or Colleen on 082 372 6582.
