Boksburg Lake Rotary Club president Linda Stokes donated baby supplies to Kuselo Child and Care on July 27.
Stokes pointed out that as part of her birthday celebration in July, she asked people to rather buy useful products for the home instead of buying her gifts.
“They were happy to do that as that gave them the opportunity to contribute towards the welfare of needy children,” said Stokes.
“Kuselo is a fantastic centre, and we enjoy helping them in any way we can. We are a small club that does our best to assist those in need,” added Stokes.
Amanda Coetzee, the founder of Kuselo, said the home was grateful for the support, adding that it came at a time when such items were most needed.
“Thank you to the Boksburg Lake Rotary Club and everyone who contributed. We want to thank you the club for the good work you do in our community and for always having the best interests of the children at heart.”
