One victim died at the scene, while the others (two men and a woman) were rushed to hospital.

A 37-year-old man has died, and three others sustained injuries in a shooting at the Reiger Park flats.

While the police spokesperson has not yet reverted with full details, according to a well-placed source, two unknown men randomly opened fire near the L block on the evening of July 23.

One victim died at the scene, while the others (two men and a woman), also shot, were rushed to hospital.

It is understood that the hospital discharged the two men, but the woman is still fighting for her life.

The motive for the shooting is suspected to be gang-related.

It is not an isolated incident in the township because police in the area are investigating several other deadly shootings believed to be gang-related.
