Those who attended the march wielded placards that read 'stop gender-based violence', 'rape is a medical emergency', 'report child abuse' and 'counselling after rape is important'.
In commemoration of Youth Day on June 16, Boksburg SAPS, in conjunction with various stakeholders, held a march against gender-based violence in Angelo on June 14.
