Investigation continues in murder near taxi rank
The body of unknown was found near the East Rand Mall taxi rank.
The Boksburg North SAPS is still investigating the murder of an unknown man who was found dead along First Road, near the East Rand Mall Taxi Rank around 07:00, on September 15.
According to the station commander of Boksburg North police station, Colonel Mack Mngomezulu, a case of murder has been opened.
“We suspect the man is in his 40s is a vagrant and he was killed at night. The motive for the murder is unknown and no one has been arrested in connection with the murder so far.
“However, they are ongoing investigations and currently no one has come forward to claim the body,” stated Mngomezulu.
Police are pleading with anyone who has information about the murder or who is a family member of the deceased to call the Boksburg North police station on 011 960 0100 or the helpline which is 08600 1011.
