Main Reef Road motorists still dodging sheep

Residents are urged to report livestock roaming public roads.

On July 16, a flock of sheep was again spotted taking a stroll along Main Reef Road, oblivious to the hazard they pose to motorists between Angelo and Lilianton.

This comes after the Boksburg Advertiser recently received numerous complaints about livestock posing a risk to motorists driving between Knights and Comet.

An EMPD team was tasked to monitor the situation but they couldn’t find the sheep said to be causing traffic obstructions. They urged residents to report livestock roaming public roads.
