Nonkululeko Gabriella Ndaba, who went missing on May 26, was found dead under the N17 bridge in Barry Marias Road, near Van Dyk Park, at around 16:00 on June 1.
According to the Dawn Park SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Nkemeleng Mabula, a passerby notified the police about the body.
“It was the body of a woman who was reported missing at the police station on May 27. She was a resident of Van Dyk Park,” said Mabula.
An inquest docket has been opened.
