Boksburg ‘madam’ to return to court in June

The woman is accused of selling the sexual services of minor girls on a website.

A 38-year-old woman from Margate is expected back in the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court on June 14 to face human trafficking and other related charges involving two minor girls.

One girl was aged between 13 and 14, and the other was even younger at the time of the offences.

The woman appeared in court on April 12, but the matter was postponed, and she was remanded in custody.

The offences took place between 2022 and 2023.

She faces charges of trafficking in persons, rape, conspiracy to commit a sexual offence, aiding and abetting, sexual grooming, sexual exploitation of children, keeping a brothel, living on earnings of prostitution and compelling or causing children to witness sexual acts.

The woman allegedly ran a brothel at a guesthouse in Boksburg.
