Assault
A man was arrested for common assault (domestic violence related) in Main Street on March 19.
According to Boksburg North SAPS spokesperson Sergeant Justice Ramaube, police were told a woman was with her cousin and her family at a park when a man assaulted her and called her names.
Possession of drugs
A man was apprehended in Trichardts Road on March 20 for being in possession of drugs.
The man was with two other man in a red Toyota Corolla when police stopped the car and searched them.
The last man they searched was found in possession of ziplock plastic bag containing suspected crystal meth.
Contravention of the Immigration Act
A man was arrested in Rondebult Road on March 22 for being in the country illegally.
According to Boksburg North SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Justice Ramaube, a police officer stopped the man while he was walking.
The man tried to run away, but the officer managed to catch him and asked for his passport, which the man could not display.
