Boksburg brothel ‘madam’ accused of sexual exploitation of minors
The woman is accused of selling the sexual services of minor girls on a website.
A 38-year-old woman from Margate will return to the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court on April 12 to face human trafficking and other related charges involving two minor girls, one aged between 13 and 14, and the other younger at the time of the offences.
The offences took place between 2022 and 2023.
She appeared in court on March 29, where the case was postponed and she was remanded in custody.
She is facing charges of trafficking in persons, rape, conspiracy to commit a sexual offence, aiding and abetting, sexual grooming, sexual exploitation of children, keeping a brothel, living on earnings of prostitution and compelling or causing children to witness sexual acts.
The woman allegedly ran a brothel at a guesthouse in Boksburg.
