Three young men were shot and killed and a fourth were injured when an unknown assailant opened fire on them outside a home in Reiger Park on October 12.
A spokesperson for the Reiger Park SAPS Constable Johannes Msimanga said the victims were sitting outside the residence at around 22:40 when the gunman approached them.
“The deceased have been identified as 20-year-old Alveren Joko, 17-year-old Zuriel Minnaar and 19-year-old Shaylin Fortuin.
“A fourth victim, whose identity has not yet been released, was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
“The motive for the shooting is unknown and police have opened a case docket for murder and attempted murder,” said Msimanga.
