Woodlands U7 team secures Eastern League championship

Woodlands International College’s U7 team (WIFA FC) recently clinched the Eastern League title, showcasing their talent in youth soccer.

Coach Ingrid Ruiters, also known as coach Ingy, expressed her pride in the team’s achievements over the past few years.

“I have been coaching at Woodlands International College for four years now, and it has been a rewarding journey.

“In 2022, we won the U7 Easterns league, and our U6 team followed suit in 2023.

“This year, our U7 team has once again triumphed in the Easterns league, and we are currently competing for the cup games,” she stated.

Under coach Ingy’s leadership, alongside assistant coach Babs Zain Adams for the U6 team, WIFA FC focuses on grassroots development.

“We are dedicated to nurturing young talent and creating the players of tomorrow,” coach Ingy added.
